Complete roof replacements typically happen in a few steps, starting with removing the existing shingles and underlayment down to the roof deck, fixing any spots on the roof deck that may need roof repairs. Next is installing new roofing materials. It is essential to know that a roof replacement price can fluctuate based on factors like:

  • Size (How many sq. ft. is your roof)

  • How it's installed on your frame/deck
  • Products and supplies
  • Layers

  • Skylights, chimneys, plumbing pipes or other features

Roof Replacement Process
  1. Property Protection: Laying down tarps wherever necessary to protect your siding, windows, bushes, and lawn.
  2. Remove the old roofing: Removal all old roofing material down to the roofing deck for a proper inspection.
  3. Evaluating sheathing: Our experts will start with a thorough inspection of your decking, removing and replacing any wet, rotten, or moldy roof decking. Additionally, they will make sure your roof is correctly attached to the rafters.
  4. Placing drip edge and underlayment: A piece of metal bent at 90 degrees to prevent rain from underneath roofing material on all trims.
  5. Secondary water barriers: An ice and water shield will be applied to the wood decking, followed by a felt layer.
  6. Roofing materials applied: It’s time to use the finishing touch— After all the above steps are complete, our experts start to lay down the new shingles. Starting from the bottom and working up to the top, followed by step and/or counter flashing, ridge vents, and ridge capping installation, as needed.

Our team of experts arrives at 8 am and is done by 6 pm seamlessly in most cases. Unfortunately, Mother Nature can decide she has other plans on the day of install. If it rains on your installation day, your timeline maybe a little longer than expected. Why?

We pride ourselves in safety and don’t want to put our team in any danger, and a steep, wet roof surface is what we call trouble. Plus, rain can damage your roofing materials and underlayment.
